چکیده
Implementation of new emissions regulations calls for a reassessment the levels newly built ships sailing in Chinese regions. In this paper, marine diesel engines are subjected to bench tests using high-precision testing equipment. A total 135 meeting Limits and Measurement Methods Exhaust Pollutants from Marine Engines (CHINA I/II) were first systematically analyzed. The emission factors main (ME) auxiliary (AE) obtained under different displacements. results show that fuel-based NOX + HC CO CHINA I/II 25.80~44.87/16.47~46.35 2.47~13.22/1.64~5.62 kg/t-fuel, respectively. energy-based HC, CO, CO2, PM satisfying 5.70~9.24/3.70~9.07, 0.49~2.30/0.36~0.99, 620~683/612~718, 0.05~0.36/0.05~0.27 g/kWh, Additionally, specific NOx rises with increase single-cylinder displacement, so limit pure fuel is recommended be lower than 5 g/kWh. paper provide valuable basic data research on estimation ship waterway transportation understanding characteristics engines.

Emission Rates of Air Pollutants Exhausted from Railroad Diesel Engines
It is widely known that the railroad diesel locomotive engines emit significant amount of air pollutants. However, these engines are not equipped with any air pollutants reducing devices in Korea, resulting in the accumulative air pollution near the railroad. Because the pollutants emission from driving locomotive engines cannot be measured directly, the emission factors based on the amount of ...
متن کاملLaboratory Study on Influence of Air Duct Throttling on Exhaust Gas Composition in Marine Four-stroke Diesel Engine
Presented paper shows results of laboratory tests on the relationship between the throttling of a cross area of an air intake duct and the composition of exhaust gas from the marine engine. The object of research is a laboratory four-stroke diesel engine, worked with a load from 50kW to 250kW at a constant speed. During the laboratory, tests over 50 parameters were measured of the engine with t...
متن کاملExhaust Emissions and Performance of Diesel Engines with Biodiesel Fuels
The use of biodiesel fuels derived from vegetable oils or animal fats as a substitute for conventional petroleum fuel in diesel engines is receiving an increasing amount of attention. This interest is based on a number of properties of biodiesel including the fact that it is produced from a renewable resource, its biodegradability, and its potential to reduce exhaust emissions. Transient exhaus...

متن کاملExtending Exhaust Gas Recirculation Limits in Diesel Engines
This paper addresses the application of high exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) for reduced nitrogen oxide emissions from diesel engines. The research objective is to develop fundamental information about the relationship between EGR parameters and diesel combustion instability and particulate formation so that options can be explored for maximizing the practical EGR limit, thereby further reducin...
